I've been trying to find reviews and comparisons with the video card offered. The main reason I want to switch to Asus is b/c of their global warranty (since I'll be going to China to teach). I want a portable gaming laptop that will be futureproof (for 3 years, since I'll be paying the 129$ extra for global 3 years).

Is this the best Asus laptop out there that? Remember, I can't use a 17"+ since it will be both my teaching and gaming laptop.

I will also consider 14"< if there are any that are better. I was looking @ the G51 and it looks pretty outdated in terms of graphics card. The card they're using is 40th place on the list of singles ...so that's out of the question.

This is not the top of the line gaming notebook from ASUS. It is more from the multimedia line.

The newest 15.6" gaming laptop from ASUS would be G53Jw.

It is not yet available for sale, but it is coming soon. Gentech PC mentions the the ETA to be end of September:
