Hello to every one, i am searching for a new laptop and i found this one
Asus N53SF-A1. Unfortunately i did not found any review or even this model on asus
web page (there are only N53SV, N53SN), maybe someone here know about this model, how this model compared to the N55SF?

The N53SF will be similar to the N53SV models, but with a better GPU. That model uses the NVidia 555m GPU instead of the 540m, but otherwise the body will be the same. The N55 is within the same series so they will be very similar.

The new N55SF is a potential replacement for the N53SF and is designed by David Lewis (the same designer for NX90 series). You would get a Blu-ray writer, Bluetooth 3.0 & SonicMaster subwoofer with the N55SF. With no price premium, N55SF seems like a better buy around this time.

Hi, Is Asus a reliable brand ?

Would love to see a review, since your a review guy would really appreciate.

Im going to university next week so would this laptop be good ?

Purpose - Uni work.. A lot of typing.. heard asus keyboard are bad... are they? Main usage will be college work, Movies, Music, Games like Cod series, gta type games.. Also need a light one to move it around so would this be perfect.?

Seen the pictures to and this looks far better then another asus laptop.

We did ask ASUS for 3rd party review, but so far there's none. We could only put together a review as courtesy when ASUS decides to supply a demo unit to us before the actual release.

The new N55 is user-focused for best multimedia experience, some gaming but not extreme. For college work, we believe the N55 gives you that extra luxury for the money. N55 has average weight for a 15.6" at 5.95 lbs (w/ battery).

Actually it is available from US resellers as well. In the link they show a black version but the US one is silver. Haven't seen any reviews on it yet but hopefully soon

Looks like a good deal for the hardware, but styling is non-existent compared to the N53, and it only comes with Win 7 Home... bleh.
