    Hello everybody.

As the title says, I was just wondering if it was worth it if I added more RAM to the Asus N53SN laptop.

It includes 8GB RAM originally with a Nvidia GeForce GT 550M graphics card and a I7 2670QM with 2.20GHz processor.

It's a hell of a laptop for just 950€ (what I paid in my country)

Not only for multimedia, video-editing, sound-editing, etc... but it's a good gaming machine.
No, you cannot run powerful games in Max Settings, but I can run titles such as Crysis 2, Mass Effect 3, Battlefield 3 and Skyrim in High Settings, so it's very good in my opinion!

Now the question is, with all these good specs, is it worth to put more RAM memory into the laptop? For Gaming, Multimedia and all-day tasks.

    What do you think?

open up task manager and see if you even use most of your 8gb ram.

if you don't, you don't need extra ram.

In particular, read commit, add a gb for caching and superfetch and compare physical ram. If physical ram is larger there is no swapping.

more dramatic way is to disable page file and see if windows say low memory after long session or your typical use(not recommended)
