    Hi,
I apologise in advance if this has been posted about somewhere else - I tried searching, but found nothing.

I bought an N53SV last fall, and rather quickly started noticing banding in shadows and gradients. There also seems to be a very fine grid overlaying the image, especially noticable on dark backgrounds. I've updated drivers time and time again, no change. The grid was less noticable when I used the TV as an external display, but the banded and grainy shadows and gradients were still present.

The laptop was sent in for diagnostics and repair, and I got it back today with a new motherboard and a fresh install of Windows 7. The problem persists, though, and I'm a little uncertain what the cause of it might be. I have not been able to find any reviews that mention this issue.

The laptop is the N53SV-SX062V model with a 1366x768 display and the Geforce 540M. Is it just a ty display and I will have to put up with it, or could it be cause for complaint (again)?

Thank you so much for any and all help!
