I'm looking at the N550JV-DB71 with a 500GB SSD hard drive, 8GB RAM, clean install of Windows 7, MS Office, and possibly some additional warranty/damage coverage.

My decision now is...which seller do I go with. It's between GenTechPC, XOPTICPC, and HIDevolution. All three offer the same hard drive. As far as I know, HID doesn't say they will install Win7 with no bloatware, but XOTICPC does for free and GenTechPC charges $15. GenTech offers MS Office 2010 with just the product key, while the others include the disc. All three have the machine in stock and ready to build, however, I do not know if the modifications will extend the shipping date.

For reference, these are the specs I'm considering:
    Win7 Home Premium
    Clean install minus bloatware
    500GB Samsung EVO SSD
nVidia GeForce GT 750M 2GB DDR3 (GenTech specifies this includes an additional Intel HD4600)
    DVDRW optical drive
Upgrades to the warranty and coverage. This is still to be determined.

Can you offer me any advice on this? Are there other sellers out there I should consider?

We do not charge $15 for clean install if you choose Windows 7. the $15 clean installation is only if you want us to clean install Windows 8.

Modification takes about 5 business days to complete.

GenTech is cheaper than XoticPC. Unless you actually want engraving or something go with GenTech. As for GenTech vs HIDevolution, I'm not sure. I heard that they deliver but support afterwards is really lacking.

The sager section has a reseller feedback section which should apply since most resellers there also sell asus machines.
