Hey guys, I hope im posting it in the right forum... if not, sorry :p

Ive got an ASUS laptop (n55s) and its 2.5 years old.
a few months back my laptop started restarting itself while i was playing MMO games (rift).
i took it to a technician who told me that the laptop was full of dust and he used high air pressure to take it out.
the laptop kept working for a few weeks without any crashing / restart and then again since last night i had like 5 reserts while playing..

Ive opened the laptop myself (using a guide online) and cleared all the dust inside or next to the fan, still today, the laptop keeps restarting..

before every reset it sounds like the computer fan is at top speed, i also downloaded a temperature program and its around the yellow lines (meaning not cold, but not too hot).

i checked for virsus and driver updates and i have no idea what else to do..

i dont want to waste more money on a technician to fix the problem just for few weeks again..
    please help =[

    thanks
    ori

It could be that the thermal compound has worn out and needs replaced. Several forced shutdowns from overheating could have resulted in damaged hardware, even.

Have you used a system information tool to monitor the temperatures in the laptop? HWiNFO64 is a good utility for that.
