    Asus N55SF Help

    New N5SSF , started gaming with it , when gaming after an hour or so in the keyboard stopped responding , altho keys like the windows key and the enter key as well as the mouse buttons still work , i just tried a system restore but not sure if it worked. what are some things that could cause this and what can i try apart from plugging usb keyboard and mouse in because already did that

    ty ahead of time for any help you can provide.

    Hello Val-

    Sounds to me like you may need to reinstall the chip set driver and take it from there. If that does not work, you may need to check the keyboard connection on the inside.

    Do you get a PC speaker beep when the keyboard stops working? Does it happen when you press Ctrl+Space?

    If that's the case, go to your regional/language control panel and remove the Chinese keyboard layout.

    wasnt it man but we've found a quick solution till we resolve the issue appariently when we hybernate the laptop and come back its fine. weird eh?
