Hi, I have the exact same problem. My subwoofer is making a strange buzzing sound whenever there is movement on the screen. At first I thought it's the hard drive but I've just got an ssd and I realised it's the subwoofer. Did you manage to solve this issue? Now that I'm aware of it it's really annoying!
-
It's enough to launch Waves MaxxAudio application to here buzzing sounds
-
guys who still have same problems, it's easy to check - launch Waves MaxxAudio and listen to subwoofer, or just open internet explorer and move mouse. Please report this to ASUS, I know more people who has same issues.

Hi,
My subwoofer doesnt seem to be working at all....when i play music there is no sound from the subwoofer..
Do i need to install or enable something on the pc??
Please help! -
Same problem here, continuous buzzz... Had to unplug the subwoofer. So any solution so far?
-
I made a temporary solution for this. If you disable intel 4000 from device manager the stupid buzzing sound disappears. I guess it's because of bios firmware.
-
Thanks for suggestion, I disabled the HD 4000 and the buzzz stoped.... But why this happens? I guess now I'm onlt using the GeForce with more power consumption?
-
Based on your findings I'd guess there just is bad shielding. The electromagnetic field of the graphics card goes in to the sub, because the signal-path is to close/to badly shielded.

Hi to all.i have the very same problem.i got my new Asus N56VZ-S4278 and i also found 3 problems.the subwoofer duuur and touchpad not simetric.and blue ray driver not simetric also.
Sorry if my english is not that good! Greetings from Portugal! -
I also have Buzzing problem. I contacted Asus and they told me they were aware of the problem and that they are working on Driver update. This was in February.

Driver - Definition: A driver is a small piece of software that tells the operating system and other software how to communicate with a piece of hardware. Sound card drivers tell your software exactly how to translate data into audio signals that the card can output to a set of speakers.
Basically, there is a bug ( error ) in current drivers that makes Subwoofer buzz when you use TouchPad. Hopefully Asus can correct this problem by releasing new Drivers. -
and another thing.when that driver update is ready, where can we download it? -
No problem.
When, but more likely IF Asus ever release them you can download them from here: N56VZ - Notebooks & Ultrabooks - ASUS -
