    Asus N56vz change hard disk.

    Hi, im in a bad luck streak. My laptop doesnt recognize my hard disk.

    I realized that it got damaged with 3 months of college works that i have to turn in next week lost.

    I would like to know if i replace the original HDD for a SSD its voids guarantee?.

    Please reply as soon as posible.

    Switching from one HDD to another doesn't voids guarantee AFAIK.
    Is there any possibility for you to take out the HDD and use it with another laptop or external enclosure?

    Replacing the hard drive will not void the warranty. If you need to RMA it or something you can always throw the original disk back in (there is no sticker or anything that says something has been removed).

    I would definitely try to get an external enclosure which you can find pretty cheap online and try salvaging off of that. Otherwise, if you have a friend with a desktop, you can connect it easily enough.
