I have an asus n61jv i3-330m for two months or so. After using it 20 days or so one morning when i started it did not boot. It booted upto the asus logo and stayed there. I tried to enter setup it showed a message "entering setup..." and stayed there, no hang no boot to os, nothing. Then i took it to the asus customer care and they said my hdd crashed and they changed the hdd with a new one and till now it's running well. My question is that if i had an hdd crash why couldn't i enter the BIOS setup? And one more thing from the very beginning my webcam is mirrored. In lifeframe i can correct it by selecting mirror checkbox, but in all other picture is mirrored. Is it like this in all asus notebook, or i have a faulty one?

Hi and welcome to the forums
In regards to your laptop not booting, try do a system restore by pressing F9 during boot. This should bring your system back to factory settings and from there, download HDTune and see if there are any SMART errors on your HDD.
For your webcam, I believe that is normal. Most webcam programs will have the option disable the mirror image, but if it doesn't you'll probably have to just get used to it or use a different program. -
Thanks......
