Really, maybe you should re read the thread. I only came in when you were comparing lcd resolutions. I never busted your chops, but it seems you take exception to being corrected.

Way to make it a war of words.... /sigh

    P. S. I never told you to not post in this thread. You chose to read it that way.

the vid was nice. crysis is maxed out at native res.

The laptop colour also doesnt look too off, as people were suggesting earlier.
and i kind of quite like the glossy finish.

Is that from amazon.ca? priced after $300 rebate? I think you got the better deal IMHO. I was a bit late on that deal, but I should have jumped on it. I would keep what you got and pray that the rebate comes :D

thanks, yeah I didn't know if the Q9000 quad at 2ghz would compare to the newer i7, I knew the gpu was better, just didn't know how to gauge the cpu to be honest

I'm in the process of ordering one of these and I'm so excited after seeing the video of Crysis running at max settings on this thing! I'll post detailed pictures and information once I receive the laptop (3-7 days).

GPU and memory make much more difference in games than CPU. Add to the fact that you screen is amazing. If you wanna work out a trade, I would be more than happy to pick up this and trade ya for yours.

I bought this from Donald at PowerNoteBooks and because of a shipper issue had to return it. PNB gave me the BEST service I have received from any online purchase. The computer rocks and it handles all of the video and photo editing I can throw at it. I bought it as a road machine and it certainly rivals my core 2 duo desktop, in fact the video editing I have done was completed in a fraction of the time.
