    Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums, brought in by the buzz of the new G51s and G71s at Best Buy. I've been following the discussions and I'm saddened to read that there are some serious heat issues with the two new models at best buy, so I've decided against them.

    But I'm still in the market to buy my first laptop, which I intend to be a semi-desktop replacement, able to watch movies, play games, and of course, and sadly, work with. So I've been surfing newegg, and I found this:

    On paper, it looks great. It has some really nice specs, has a great screen and max resolution, and even comes with a bag and mouse. Unfortunately, there is a seeming lack of information on it, with few reviews, and only smatterings of talk on it elsewhere. Does anyone know of this machine, or better yet own it, that could recommend it, or warn me against it? Any feedback would be immensely helpful.

    I don't have any info about the N70...

    Have you considered filling in the FAQ and posting in the "What NB should I buy" forum, in order to get a wider range of suggestions, possibly from other brands as well?
