I have an ASUS N81p with the TSSTcorp TS-L633A optical drive and Im trying to burn an ISO and I cant get the optical drive to recognize the blank CDR in either the native windows 7 burner or in IMGBurn. It continually spins up and attempts to read, takes a very long time, and then eventually spins down and says there is no media present. However, when I put in a blank DVDR, the drive recognizes it instantly and is ready to burn as usual. Does this mean I need a new drive? Does it need to be cleaned or something? Thanks for your time guys!
