Hi, I have an Asus N81VP c1 laptop, seems to work great aside from the fact that the Bluetooth has stopped working some time now. I've tried reinstalls of Vista and Win 7 alternately but no success. Bluetooth device no longer shows up in device manager and installation of the driver usually ends in an error message stating that no device was detected. Can some one let me know where the Bluetooth module is located in this laptop and what module is it as I'm seriously considering taking the notebook apart to check it out
P.s. I also sometimes get the sound from windows that indicates a device has been removed or unplugged and reattached. Any suggestions and or info as to where the bluetooth is located in the notebook and how to take it apart is appreciated.

The BT module is usually located inside the chassis and often times in the corners of the laptop. You'll need to first remove the keyboard and the top case assembly to access the BT module.
