What I never got about these "premium" systems like the Acer Ferrari and such is why don't they put in better GFX cards? And the resolution is the crap 1366x768 :( If I pay $3000 I would like a proper GFX card and resolution.

    Yea, lol :)

"top-of-the-line" in price maybe, but definitely not specs.

I found it to be a little odd. With the design and marketing it makes it seem like they're trying to advertise a high end gaming laptop, but that's obviously not what this was built for, apparently. I'm not really sure where their aim is with this one, other than the obvious "wow" factor.

Looks nice just like the acer ferrari. Internals leave a lot to be desired.

But when you own a notebook like this the FIRST thing you will get asked is what kind of games you can play on it.

I get it with the Voodoo Envy and the Sony Vaio Z, but this screams GAMER but instead its lamer.

Well maybe it's for people that are willing to pay 3000 just for looks, without bothering to check (or allowing themselves to be lied about) the performance.

In which case, they probably deserve this laptop.

Ha ha, gotta love rich people who'll throw money at anything.

Looks kinda like that ridiculous Alienware Best But has online. Same price, too.

My god that's expensive. I can buy two and a half G51's with that kind of money. The money that Asus R&D used went towards making that thing instead of towards improving cooling on the G51 and G71.
