Hi,
I have the Asus V2S runs on Vista Ultimate and has a Nvidia 8600m GT 512mb card.
Force Ware 101.38
I can't seem to update the drivers for it - by using the Nvidia drivers or the Asus drivers. Either I get an error message or it says your card driver is uptodate.
I can't run Company of Heroes 2.1 on my computer. Everything runs beautifully until gameplay. Then the graphic card has a heart attack.

Don't update the conventional way. Do it via Device Manager. Go to device manager and select display adpaters and then right click on your video card. Then click "Update Driver Software". Then say "Browse Computer..." selection and then select "Let Me Pick..." then say "Have Disc". Once you open that dialog just search the folder where you downloaded and extracted the drivers. It should automatically find the "inf" file and select the proper card. Before you do this inorder to get rid of the old drivers if you want, you have to remove them and check "Delete devicce software". This will delete those older drivers and you will not be able to return to them. Windows will restart and will install its own "Standard VGA" driver. Update with the above method to get the new drivers, but make sure to restart for the drivers to kick in.
