The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Yeah... what.. say a 16x dual layer? I don't see that happening in the next six months... but you never know.

    Thanks.... I'm thinking of making a sticky where I put copies of all of the comparison charts I've made..... Most of them I make for people on the forum, then I see them linked to forums all over the place..... So I figured it'd be a good idea to get them linked on our site as well.... why not right? It seeemed as though everyone else was using them......
