    Asus Parts in Australia

    Hi, I hope someone can help me out here..

    I have an Asus A8Jr (Pro80 Series) laptop which is a few years old so the warranty on it has expired and it has already been voided anyway because I've made repairs on it before. I need a couple of parts though, Asus A8 Hinge covers (both left and right are missing) and Asus A8J Touchpad Button (the left-click button has completely snapped off).

    However, I have only been able to find stores in the UK, US and maybe a few in China that sell these parts and ships them worldwide. Though I don't want to have to pay for shipping because it's far too expensive just to repair a touchpad and cover up a couple of LCD hinges. Are there any online stores like Asus estore (only ships to US&Canada) or any store at all that resides in Australia that will sell these parts?

    I appreciate any help I can get :)

    Your best chance is looking at broken laptops on ebay. There's no parts seller in Australia that i know off.

    I don't think there are any official stores that sell Asus parts, however, you could contact Asus Australia and ask them how you could acquire the notebook parts.
