I've only had my laptop for a little over a year (so, the warranty is gone), but recently I've been having problems with the screen. It will randomly turn magenta, flickering between dark magenta and a pale, almost-normal screen-color except for a slight magenta haze. Previous images (either websites I had closed out, or maybe paragraphs I had deleted from working in Word) can be seen burned in the background. Nothing seems to trigger it; it can happen after working in it for a few hours or just a few minutes. I've tried googling the problem, but what I found doesn't quite match my problem. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way, it just started doing this quite suddenly. Is this a known issue for Asus laptops/laptops in general?

Ok, so, usually I can temporarily fix the problem by restarting it, but that's stopped working. And now the colors in videos/gifs are inverted.

Do you notice any fluctuation specifically when you pivot the screen?
