    I bought a new q550lf, and I updated it to windows 8.1 from 8.
I've been having a collection of problems. Let me just list them in bullet format:

-Sometimes the touchpad becomes unresponsive or very laggy
-Frequently, the wifi will slow down, disconnect from my network, or have an error
-Windows movie maker (both live version and the 2.6 that I downloaded) doesn't play video, only audio, making video editing impossible for me

I have windows update on automatic.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you install the Windows 8.1 drivers for everything after performing the update?

BIOS, drivers, and utilities are recommended to be updated to the latest version to support Win8.1.

Is there a way to download/install all of the drivers needed in one pack/automatic search & update?
Because on the asus website, it makes you download one at a time, and there are just way too many for me to sit there doing one at a time.
    Thanks

There is not. In cases like this I collect all the driver packages needed for a full OS re-install and keep them on a portable drive for later use. I always find myself doing OS re installs every 6 months to a year.

Unfortunately, they don't have that, however if you keep the drivers somewhere else so when you need them again then you won't have to download each driver package again.

The best practice is usually to download the drivers ahead of time, and then copy them onto the USB drive you're using to install Windows.

Yup, that's the best way to do it.
