I got linked over here from tabletpcreviewspot.com and was wondering if anyone here has actually been able to use the R1F tablet yet. I'm quite interested in this machine and how it stacks up against other light tablets like the M400.

I'm coming off a M400 because Toshiba would not replace my broken-from-factory tablet and I don't wish to repeat the experience. I'm certain I'll get positive replies about Asus' build quality and customer service, but I'm asking just to be sure - how good is Asus?

    Thank you for your time

You're probably better off at the tabletpcreview.com, specifically the Asus forum where there's a lot more info on it.

well the only people who have gotten to touch these things are resellers who got demo units. anyone who has preordered one will probably start getting them mid-late october. so that's probably around the time we'll start seeing reviews, i cant wait to see what kind of reviews the r1f gets.
