    Hello all,

Got my Asus R500VD like one month ago. Created the recovery drives. But when I try to do it, it gave a error at the 3rd disc. I can't use recovery partition cause I can't boot from it. Trying F9 all the time but doesn't work.

    Anyone got a solution?

    Greetings.

What you will have to do is check to see if your recovery partition is still available. Go to start and type in computer management and select disk management. If you do not see a hidden partition roughly around 10-20GB then you have deleted your recovery partition that you will have to send it in for service. If you still have your recovery partition when you restart your computer and press F9 what error are you getting. Can you please send a screen shot. You can email me with my [email protected]

Yes, it is there 25GB Recovery Partition, no Drive letter. I press f9 at the Asus logo but nothing is coming up.
Maybe it's something wrong with my partition.

I hope somebody can help me.

So you keep pressing the F9 button after you restart the computer until it appears or you just press it once.

Can you please provide me with the first 4 characters of your serial number. If you are able to get into your computer can you try updating the AI recovery to the latest version through ASUS live updates and then try pressing F9 at restart. If you are still having a problem then you will have to send the unit in for service for us to repair the recovery partition. You can email me at my screen [email protected]
