Maybe they don't have too many problems with ASUS laptops? The ones that do have quick turnaround time.

Asus has 5 techs/repair guys in the US... I think like 1-2 in Canada.... Yes, there aren't many issues and the turnaround for most issues is a couple days... a week at most if say a motherboard needs to be tested and then replaced... only more if perhaps the replacement part isn't in stock.. but that's rare.

I just dropped off my Asus G1 for a screen issue. The service center is in Fremont which is within 45min of my house so I just drove over and dropped it off. They said would be ready by tomorrow! I was impressed!

That's good - you all had better experiences than me. They gave me the wrong laptop once, they were missing screws inside, I still have no idea if I have the same DVD drive I first bought or the same memory... They gave 2 screens to me with more dead pixels than I started and 1 with the wrong res...but anyway I posted this already back then, I'm glad to hear you all had better experiences (I walked 10 mins from my work to get to the Markham ASUS Canada Tech Support Center)

Well they just called and said it's ready....but they said they found nothing wrong. How can a screen show obvious color problems for two days straight and then be just fine later the same day for different people. Time to drive over and pick it up I guess.
