As it say's in the title im curios if you know or have any ideea if this upgrade will be possible to this gaming rig, besides the power suply( dell230w who i allready have it) and a modded heatsink, and i was thinking about lvds vs edp conector lcd but if im not mistaking, those you can set up from vbios, i saw that on an alienware 18r2 :), so im curios if someone tried it, or if it works and what cand you need to do :)
Im also curios if the cpu cand be upgradet tot 3rd gen i7, i saw that the chipset hm65 recognizes the 3610qm, didnt try it, soon i will, and i will come with pics, if it works the next thing in linse is 3940qm :).

G73SW can only be upgraded so far when it comes to plug and play ( cpu and ram are the only real things to do along with SSD )

the MXM card is a proprietary design by ASUS and only that card can be used

CPU dont try anything other than 2nd gen i7 the 3rd gen will fit but dont think it will boot from what i can remember
