Dang - I like it - and they FINALLY are putting a matte-type finish on the palmrests. I'm sending this from my Eee PC and I'm constantly wiping smudges (white choco macadamia tonight .... :) ) from it. I want one...

I agree 12" is more of a ultra small notebook, its very small still but its not the little ultra portable netbook that can easily tag along with you no matter where you go.

I am happy with the keyboard & screen size of the 10" models I just want them to boost up the res to 1280x800 even though its a small screen you would be able to read it. I do not think I could sacrifice the size for the bigger res/screen in this case. I would rather just get a full fledged 13" notebook. Or there is the 12" Asus N20.

Since this is an "S" unit it probably uses SSD, and will go for a high premium. If you just want 12" size the N20 is probably better.

I would assume they will make a 1002HA or 1000H 12" version with a HDD if this unit does well that will cost less, have a HDD instead (better), and do away with some of the stuff that adds premiums like leather palm rests.
