The 180M is just a 9800GTX though so...
I mean, yeah, that'd be awesome, but why does everyone care about the new mobility cards so much when they're just renames? -
Red_Dragon Notebook Nobel Laureate
They actually aren't renames, apparently they are alot more then that not only are they smaller in size but they are faster too.
for example, the 110m which is like the successor to the 9300 features DOUBLE shaders and stream processors. The 180m should also be quite a bit better then the GTX but currently there is no info available.
i know im smart im going to eat a cookie now -
If that's true than I'll be excited too. All I've read though is about renames, do you have a link?

Red_Dragon Notebook Nobel Laureate
yeah let me search for it........................................................................................................
OK, found it:

As you can see they are all an improvement over the predecessor especially the "low end" GPU's this a good time to buy a notebook on a budgetStill though the 4570 will still end up being king of that segment.
-
Notebook Check isn't always the greatest source of info. I wouldn't put it past them to confuse an Nvidia 9400M chipset as a second GPU
-
wow. That VX5 is probably the most beautiful notebook I have ever seen. The only downside is the lack of a numberpad.

Phinagle lets wait and see if they did have a hands on maybe they know something that they cant say. -
I agree with Phinage - Notebookcheck is one of the least reliable sites out there for mobile GPU info. I will wait and see what nVidia delivers. Until then, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Well the new "M" series GPU are better then the new "old" 9000 series i've seen a couple of charts I cant find them though. It was a comparison of the new ones and the old ones.
The new ones look good, as for the VX5 with two GPU's like i said above lets wait and see. -
oooh man the w90 looks super coOol!!!
the lambo too but the i belive the w90 will be cheaper with better performance
man...i want to finish my univ. studies and get a job to buy one of the w90s!!
4 months to go....
caaant wait!!! -
W90 does impress but is a little to big for my taste but you cannot deny it's awesome performance
-
Red, David says NotebookCheck are just spurning out BS. He doubts it will have 2 GPUs.
Binary GFX maybe? -

Ikas i honestly love the size it is a desktop replacement so most people who buy it arent going anywhere/
Maybe binary probably the gefore boost we see in the Studio xps 13 probably a high end card with a 9400 which would still be fine i guess. -
Ugh, the VX5 is a little too tacky for my taste.
