Just for anybody who wants to know where you can get these in the UK...

    www.rizeon.com/notebooks.php

This company is selling a white version...i think it looks pretty cool...but the black version looks slick!

Wow, I'm really interested in the FT00 (it's the perfect screen size for me, and damned cheap!). I don't think it's ASUS, though. I googled it and most signs seem to point to Compal, but there's not a lot of hard-information. Nothing on these forums for 'FT00' either. Any ideas?

You can read about the FT00 in the Compal forum...what do you need to know...pm me...After doing crap loads of research before buying my laptop from Rizeon I learnt quite a bit about Asus and Compal :D

    Cheers!

Is the FT00 on Rizeon's website the same as the IFT00? (There's nothing on this forum about the FT00, but loads about the IFT00)
I guess you bought from Rizeon in the end? What do you think of their build quality and service?

Last thing - Any idea if the FT00 has built-in Bluetooth capabilities (in their specification they have a category for 'LAN & WLAN & Bluetooth' but say nothing about bluetooth :()?

    Hey Ultim,

They are the same thing but just different looking. Compal have 2 versions...inside they are practically the same.

I know bluetooth should be an option so ask them.

Build quality is great. Can't go wrong with Asus or compals...

Service...I haven't had to use their aftersales support yet but their presales support is very very good as some have already mentioned.

Good communication, good warranty and good prices...I'm happy so far.

The FT00 is a version of the Compal IFT00.

    Hi,

I think the only difference between them is that the IFT00 is the VBI(Verified by Intel) version. Both are made by Compal. I have bought the IFT00, and I am very pleased, some little details that are easily forgotten when you think the price tag.

Someone told'me that Intel directly supports and distributes the VBI versions, so any problem you may have is more rapidly solved, I hoper never had to confirm this ;).
