Both notebooks have the rare 11.1" WXGA display and are about the same size but the Asus has dual core but the TX only has single core. Plus the Asus uses 2.5" drives but the TX only uses 1.8" drives.
Though I think the Asus doesn't have the QuickPlay feature the Vaio has right?
Anyone know the battery life of the Asus and if there's an extended battery available for it?
I've seen barely any details about this notebook, anyone have one or is there a forum about this notebook?

It's worth keeping in mind that the S6F ranges from 0.88 inches to 1.46 inches thick, whereas the Vaio TX ranges from 0.83 inches to 1.12 inches thick. When you're talking about these kinds of ultrathin laptops, the difference between 1.46 inches and 1.12 inches isn't trivial. It does allow the S6F to more easily accomodate a full Core Duo and a 2.5" drive though, so I think it comes down to whether you want the thinnest possible laptop, or whether you prefer having the Core Duo and a regular 2.5" drive.

I'd definately have a 2.5" hard drive and Core Duo in trade off to the increased thickness.
I also think the Vaio TX will get better battery life as well, but by how much?
I read somewhere that all Asus S6Fs are bundled with two batteries?
Where can I find more info on this notebook? -
The TX battery life is supposed to be in the 7-11 hour range depending on usage. I've heard the S6F gets very good battery life as well though.
It sounds like as long as you aren't bothered by the extra thickness, then y ou should definitely get the S6F for the 2.5" HD and Core Duo proc. -
Yeah, its my dream notebook right now but by the time I get the cash to afford it, there'll probably be other dual core ultraportables like this one or better ones from Sony, Fujitsu or other companies.
