    Asus S96S not installing vista

    My laptop Asus S96S stucks after trying to install vista. When system boots from the Vista dvd after copying file, then boot up screen appear. But after sometine the system hangs and there is no response. Kindly help me solving this problem.

    did you check your temperatures in you bios It may be over heating or you may have a bad disk or a bad DVD drive or Possibly a bad Hard drive

    2 important things:

    Is it a legitimate version of vista and not pirated?

    and did you do a clean install or an "over the top" install where it overites your old OS and keeps your files?

    Arey yaar, I got the same lappy. DIdn't have problems installing vista(it was so fast). Try, a different vista DVD and use your key provided or try a different drive, check temp as others have suggested.
