I am having a hard time deciding which one to get. This is a college notebook, but I want it to powerful Powernotebooks just released the S96S and it almost seeems to good to be true. http://www.powernotebooks.com/specs/PowerPro/a9-6.php

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the S96S or if I should just stick with the G1 and suck up the extra pound or 2 in the back pack for class. The S96S is cheaper, but I know nothing about it, someone please help

What kind of stuff will you be using it for? One thing I might mention is that 1280x800 is kind of a low resolution for a 15.4" screen.

I think thats comes down to personal preference at the end of the day. Im quite happy with 1280x800 on my 15.4" screen.

I need it for college, lots of multimedia, big hd, good screen for watching movies, and ocasional gaming. Is the S696S a lot smaller then the G1S-A1?
