    Are the G1 and G2 the only notebooks asus offers with style....Id like to get a 14" with some style do they have any?

    haha i know its just im about to get rid of my e1705 dell and its 17" and i jsut wanted to get something smalller and easier to carry around but still play games will the G1 be about the same as the e1705 just minus 2 or 3 inches?

    For 14" gaming in Asus you are looking at the A8 series.

    I went from a 17" to the Asus G1, although it is smaller it feels just as heavy to me but it is definitely easier to carry around because it is smaller. I had the Asus W2JB before the Asus G1 and I think the weight of the two notebook has a .5 lbs difference. Anyways the G1 should be easier to carry around and a little lighter than the e1705; plus you get a nifty G1 backpack to carry it around in.

    That's for sure. I didn't get the G1S because I don't like it's "style." It lacks "class."
