    Hello,

Is it advisable to upgrade to the newest (1.0.40) version of Power4Gear that has Super Hybrid Engine integrated?
My version has the SHE desktop gadget and the on/off switch for SHE in the Power4Gear control panel. I like having the extra control and I currently have SHE turned off.
My question is, is it advisable to turn on SHE or will it impact system performance? I.e. if I am running in Quiet Office mode, will I be unable to use all of the cpu power? Should I just upgrade to 1.0.40 and let Asus handle it? I am hesitant because I don't want the CPU crippled during a lower power mode when I briefly need it.

Second, we all know the new Elantech Touchpad 8.0.70 drivers deliver features like Pinch/Zoom, Edge Scroll, etc. but is quite unstable. Why on earth hasn't Asus implemented this for the U35 series when it is capable of it???

Anyone else surprised about the lack of info on SHE?? In your experience, does it hinder performance by a lot depending on the mode you have it set at?

    Why not version 1.0.43?

It works good on both my ASUS UL50Vt-A1 and N61Jq-A1.

    Best regards,

My bad for the typo. I should have typed it v1.1.43 and yes it should work on all ASUS which have hybrid technology:
