I have been having problem booting any cd/dvd with the t100ta and i have tried every setting in the bios, as far as i can find out, the t100 has an 32bit eufi and secureboot bios when most notebooks use a 64bit version, and boot cd/dvd use 64bit as well.

I have been trying to boot Acronis True Image 2014 without success so i can make an image of the ssd, i wanted to try WinXp on the T100 i have found a website with Xp drivers but i cannot download them as i dont have an account, could somebody with an account download them and re-post them please.

I am using an "Belkin 10.2 inch Pleated Sleeve for Tablets and Netbooks" it has a single zipped pocket for cables/mouse ect.

I also user an Hama M2140 bluetooth mouse, it is very small and takes 2xAAA battery`s making it nice an light, as i hate using touchpads.

A piece of advice if you use an micro-sdhc memory card in you T100 be careful you do not loose it, as it can fall out really easy, i put a piece of electricians tape over the end of the card to hold it in place, this is a stupid thing Asus has done, other Asus android tables have the same problem and they are numerous reports of people loosing cards.

Hi John, I have tried the Mem Reduct and it seems to work better than CleanMem, but Windows 8.1 keep on complaining about low on memory on my T100TA - I had task manager open the whole time with the graph, but cannot see any spike in Memory usage. I have played Halo Spartan Assault, which was demoed on the T100TA, but keep on getting a popup that says system is low in memory - I'm disappointed with the T100TA.

    Hi.

If you are getting a low memory warning while running a game try mini-mem once installed run the game, then alt-tab and then add any game process to the mini-mem application list, also look for any other apps that are using a lot of memory and add them too, but just add the game at first.

I have had games with memory leaks that even give warning with 8gb of memory mini-mem fixed the problem for me.

I have not gamed on my T100 yet.

Thank you John Mini-Mem works great - played Halo Spartan for about 7 minutes without any annoying low memory popups.

Isn't W8.1 suppose to have very good memory handler to avoid things like this ?

If you could disable the metro interface and just use the standard desktop interface it might not have as many memory problem since less system memory would be getting used, sorry it`s a bugbear of mine.

Glad mini-mem is working out for you. :)

Yes I will disable the metro as for me I'm using the desktop most of the time - still getting to know this new machine.

You made my day and I'm happy with the T100TA again.
