Hello, i have an Asus TUF FX504 gaming laptop with i7-8750H and GTX 1060 GPU. I heard that these models are kind of a pain in the butt but i didnt think it was that bad with the machine that i have. When i launch Aida64 or any other software the laptop drops the CPU speed to 0.79GHz at 36% utilisation. As you can imagine the games are unplayable. I have the latest BIOS, all of the fan and computer settings set to maximum performance, all of the drivers installed (even windows reinstalled twice). The only solution to this is to install ThrottleStop and to disable BD PROCHOT which then caps the CPU speed at 2.19. The temperatures are very low. What could be causing this?Anyone could share your experience with the same model?
