Can anyone tell me how Asus' customer support is? I'm looking really hard at the Asus line of notebooks. Does anyone have experience with Asus North America support? I also would like to know about you experiences with various resellers like MilestonePC and PROPortable. I am looking at these resellers and also at NewEgg. Thanks in advance. Also, Does the Nvidia 7700 really have 512MB of RAM on it or is this a shared RAM?

why dont you call them and ask questions? they recently rolled out 24/7 tech support. they ship back overnight for ensembles and barebones alike. they best support is for the ensemble line. barebones should be warranted by the dealer however not every dealer does so asus picks up the slack for most.

I called them to ask a simple question. It seemed to confuse the customer support. I am guessing it is no better or worse than all other poorly paid and understaffed customer support.
