    I've tried searching for this and maybe my search skills are just bad. But does anyone know how the turnaround times are for a dead/bright dot screen replacement? I live in Canada and i know they send everything to the Markham location. I was wondering if i can just drive by and drop off my laptop there? Do you think they can replace it on the spot?

    Hi guys, I don't know if anyone has any experience with this, but i was thinking of going into my local ASUS service center to get my screen replaced for dead pixels. Now a guy on another forum said he has done the same before but I can ask for the LG or Hannster screen instead of the AUO, does anyone know if they just honor it like that, just by asking they will give you a different screen with the same res?

    I've merged your two threads together. Please don't start multiple threads for your RMA questions.

    As far as I know you get whatever screen they have available -- why don't you just call the service center? They're usually able to get back to you by phone within a day or two if not immediately. Good luck! :)
