Even when my battery is at 100%, the red LED light is still on, and the icon in the taskbar still says "100% charging". Is there anyway to fix this? It's annoying having to pull out my battery once the charge is completed to prevent over-charging.

    Thanks

    Try this:

Remove the battery, then reboot the notebook, and then place it back in.

You may want to try this a few times. You may also want to check the wear percentage using NHC or any other program.

Sometimes the LED will stay on, even though the battery is 100% charged, there is a miscommunication of information which causes this happen.

Thanks, but I've tried that and it still happens. NHC says 0% wear. Any other suggestions?

Try a battery calibration from the BIOS.
