The Asus world magazine has these new laptops no one have mentioned.

The specs are exactly like the UL30JT except that they have full powered CPU's. This was EXACTLY what I wanted. A slim laptop with optimus, 13inch, strong enough graphics and great battery life...

What kind of battery life can we expect from this? knowing that it has full powered cpus, how much of a difference in battery life can we expect comparing to the UL30JT?

Anyone else have other information on this laptop?

Yea, I was wondering why there isn't any hype about them.

It's exactly like the UL30JT except with full powered cpus.

Most people are more interested in the U30JC, since it's basically the same without bamboo.

All of Asus' bamboo series laptops are usually a lot more expensive than the non-bamboo versions and are available in limited quantities (at least in the US). There's never been a strong demand for these laptops and I believe these bamboo series are more of a publicity stunt to promote their "green-ness" and image; hence not much hype is seen around the forums.

Even with the U30JC, is it a popular notebook? I haven't seen anyone talk about it here...

Well I guess U30JC is the more consumer appealing laptop but the difference is that the bamboo one has usb 3.0 which might interest a lot of people.

Best Buy (although without the usual Asus warranty, along with some other noticeable differences, I'm sure), J&R, XoticPC...there's a big ol' thread over in the owners' lounges/reviews subforum. No one in there technically has one yet, but they are all very excited :)
