    Micro Anvika are an official Asus retailer and appear to have it in stock, £850 including VAT. Also, this LambdaTek shop have a listing for £750 (inc. VAT) and while it's out of stock now, they're saying they expect more around the 20th of December, you could contact them and ask. But I don't know anything about LambdaTek, might not be a bad idea to see if anyone has any feedback on them as a retailer.

    $969 comes to around £610, listing without tax, any estimates on mark-up from US to UK taxes and shipping? I'd heard it goes somewhere towards 30%, which would put it towards £800.

    Oh, also, for what concerns minor savings - as I recall you can shave off a little bit if you go down in person to a Micro Anvika store on Tottenham Court Road. I remember them offering me a £40 discount back when I was considering an N53JN, it was going for £999 at the time (down to £850 now, fun stuff).

    Well, if you don't wanna risk Lambda's stock delivery and you're around the London area, you could take a walk down to Micro Anvika's 245 Tottenham store and see whether they can give you a discount to close the distance between prices to a level you're comfortable with. You won't get it to the same price as Lambda's, I'm sure, but you might just be able to get it down to around 50 or so quid over that with a bit of luck.

    I wonder is this laptop ever going to ship. I've been trying to get one to Ireland since October but everywhere has been out of stock - except Micro Anvika who don't ship here ;-)
