    Asus U41SV in CANADA????

    Is this laptop available in Canada!?
    Or even North America?
    I've done some searches and only find older u41 models.
    And is there a notable difference between the u41 vs the upcoming u46sv?
    The specs look identical, besides the higher end i5 2520 option on the u46sv...
    I WANT THIS LAPTOP, please help!

    The U41SV is thicker than the U46SV, and personally I like the U46SV design better than the U41SV.

    I have the laptop in front of me actually. I've heard the U41SV is only sold in the Asia / Europe market.

    I have the U41SV. I think the U46SV is only meant for the NA market.

    Please pardon the horrendous photo quality (took them on an iPhone) and the condition. I'm currently oversea.

    Comparing it to my current UL80VT. The one on the left is the UL80VT, and the one on the right is the U41SV.

    What kind of gets me is the elevated palmrest position. I know it might look like nothing in the picture, but in real life it is quite noticeable (and annoying IMO).

    Please let me know what other angle or combination you'd like.

    EDIT:

    Forgot to mention, there is only one set of speaker, located at the bottom of the laptop (towards the left). It is quite underwhelming, even when compared to the UL80VT, which has 2 sets of speakers.

    i wondered why there was the u41+u46, they're very similar in specs/size.
    it looks great! i would totally be all over that if it was available in NA.
    but alas i must wait :(

    The U41SV was originally scheduled for NA, but was cancelled and is now only sold in EU and Asia

    U46SV is also coming to the UK. It's on Asus UK website and i also asked them via facebook.

    i've been hearing it's more of a platinum colour? with a lil bit of gold/champ at diff angles.
