I saw the U43JC-BBA7 listed at BB.com so I asked about it when I was at my local store earlier.

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+...mboo/9975053.p?id=1218204529080&skuId=9975053

The employee I spoke to knew nothing about it so he checked the system to see if he could find out if it was due in soon. He told me that he can only see what is coming in on the next two shipments and it wasn't showing on either one yet. He said that they get deliveries on Mondays and Wednesdays so it won't be in next week. Gentech and XoticPC are still showing it on pre-order.

It is $95 less at BB, but it looks like the BB model doesn't have USB 3.0, bluetooth, only a 1 year warranty, no accidental damage warranty and only a .3MP webcam instead of 2.0 like the A1 model.

I have a few hundred dollars in BB gift cards and BB has 18 months with no interest financing. Otherwise, it wouldn't even be worth considering the BB model for the difference in price, IMHO. What do you guys think?

Edit: For some reason, the link isn't working, but the page is there if you search for Asus laptops.

USB 3 is the future... Combined with BT, longer warranty with 1 year ADP, and no local taxes if you order from resellers like Gentech (Ken is fabulous) make the price difference a negligible issue.

Spend the money for the non BB model. You'll be better off in the end.

I agree, the savings at Best Buy isn't really saving at all. I just have the gift cards and there is no interest financing on the BB side.

OK, I forgot the exception that all resellers must change sales tax for shipping within the borders of the state where they reside . I thought that would be obvious for people who shopped online.

So, for completeness, re: the major resellers on the forum here that's CA for GentechPC, NY for BTOTech, and NE/CA for XoticPC.
