So I'm a relative newb to laptops. I have an old 1520 dell inspiron and it badly need replacing. One laptop that I saw at best buy was a ASUS U46E-BAL5. It seemed pretty good and I liked its shape etc. Does anyone have one? Also can it play any games (say SC2 level).

I think it has an integrated graphics card. Are they releasing/is there another model with dedicated graphics?

    Thanks!

it can run sc2 but not at max level. the integrated graphics is equivalent to an ati x800 from a few years back. it can run the source engine pretty well. u can probably find one with a dedicated graphics card from gentechpc.com

Skip that and get the U46 A1 version for about $100 more. It has a GT 540m dedicated card and 2yr warranty compared to Best Buy watered down version with only intel hd 3000 and 1yr warranty.

Where can you find that one, it sounds perfect for what I am looking for, but I can't find it online anywhere.

I believe it is Gentechpc.com. Someone mentioned it that the ETA is Late July.
