    Asus U52F battery not detected

    I have an Asus U52F. Its about 3 years old and the battery was no longer holding a charge. I have purchased 2 new batteries and keep getting a message above the battery charging icon that says "battery not detected". Any thoughts? Thanks.

    It may be something in the charging circuit that's the problem, you would have to have a good electronics repair person take a look at the board.
