    Hello;

    I cannot seem to figure out how to properly replace the keyboard in my Asus U52f/U53f laptop computer. I have successfully removed the back of the computer to get to the keyboard and top-plate but it appears these two parts, the old keyboard and computer's top-plate, are heat-welded together. So I would literally have to break the old-keyboard off of the top-plate but have no way of re-welding the new keyboard in place.

    This totally doesn't seem right - what am I missing?

    Thanks in advance anyone who can help. About to pull my hair out!
