I just came back from BeatBuy where I saw a cool looking 12" Asus notebook PC, the model is U65. Are there any reviews of this model, I can't seem to find any info on it by doing a google search or on this forum. It really is beautiful, the one thing I didn't like is the mouse buttons were very stiff.

It's probably the Asus U6 S. It is a brand new model, so there aren't many reviews yet. I think C|Net UK might have done one though.

Yes that's the one! I have to say it is the most beautiful laptop I've seen, way nicer than the Sony SZ and TZ which I thought were beautiful designs (until I saw this one). I was quite surprised that BestBuy would carry it as they usually only carry the mainstream brands like HP, Gateway etc.
I wonder how the leather will wear over time and too bad about the terrible battery life with the standard battery. As I said the mouse buttons were uncomfortably stiff, I guess because they are made to look like one piece.

Leather seems to wear out OK (i.e., not too much or not at all) over time.

Batt life is indeed quite abysmal like on all new ASUS laptops.
