After almost a month I got my U6. I like it so far. Will write my own review soon. Calling all Vista experts. This laptop runs Vista Business. Everytime I start up the computer I get a stupid asghost.exe error. I haven't done anything to this laptop, except follow the steps after I turned it on for the first time. Any ideas, how I can get rid of that? I don't have the time for a fresh Vista install. I will do it in a few weeks. I print/screened the error but Vista does not allow you to paste the cliboard in paint, whereas XP does :p. Any suggestions?

    Error details:

    Asghost -Application Error
The instruction at 0x014f0142 referenced memory at 0x000000004. The memory could not be read. Click ok to terminate the program.

The error is related to the security features such as fingerprint scanner and/or face recognition. Did you try update Vista to see if that solves the problem.

I did but don't have Sp1. I wonder why the Update Wizard does not show it.... Same result. Oh, I so love this Vista. It does not see my XP machines. Lovely! I have to use the USB stick to copy things. Oh well...Vista is the shizzle!!!   Biggest piece of **** ever made by Microsoft!!!

Well, SP1 fixes hundreds of vista bugs... maybe you can give that a shot?

Doing that now. Maybe something changes. My N card is hooked up at 130 yet my router is sending up to 300 :(.

As I recall, the default network name used by Vista is different from the one in XP. I would start there and make sure they all match - since you just fired the notebook up, that may be why they all aren't playing nice with each other.
130Mbps is a good, normal speed for an internal AGN wireless card at close range in every review of draft-N MIMO routers in US mags I've seen; I didn't think that N-wireless routers were capable of running wireless interfaces up near 300 Mbps, as that's going to be more like wired Ethernet speeds. I don't think you're seeing a flaw, just missing expectations.

I managed to fix that stupid error. Vista SP1 fixed many things. After 3 hours of toying with Vista settings and installing Vista networking patches on XP I managed to put it on the network. Networking should not be a hassle. I am an IT engineer and it seems that you need to a rocket scientist to make this work. Oh, my print server does not work at all with Vista :(. Anywho, back to 130 Mbps, it is a nice speed, I admit, but I have 300 Mbps adapters on my standalone pcs and they work fine. I just thought that this one will connect like the other ones.
