    Asus U6sg Vista Ultimate & Vista SP1 Update

    I need some help installing SP1 on my Asus U6sg.

    The Windows Update program will not show Vista SP1 under available updates.

    I can download SP1 from MS website but I've heard they can be some issues installing it this way.

    Has anyone installed SP1 using Windows Update?

    Have you potentially tried accessing it via Microsoft Update, rather than Windows Update? MS is trying to push folks away from using the latter.

    Funny you mention this. For the first few days I owned it, update was just getting lots of random little fixes. Then yesterday night it suddenly came up with Vista SP1... and I installed it. Was odd.
