I am trying to decide on which of the 3 Asus UL30's to get, between the UL30A, UL30Vt, and UL30Jt.
What are the differences between the three? I have been unable to really get a good comparison based on my google searches, and reading some of the more in depth specs is a bit too techno-savvy for me.
Also, what are the differences between the subsets within each series? Like for UL30A-A1 and UL30A-A2, I can't find any reviews

UL30A has no dedicated gfx card, low voltage/CULV cores, slower but use less power, runs at 1.3Ghz (higher the better for the most part) - not really for gamers, cant do serious video editing, good if you dont need better video card. good battery life
UL30VT is basically a UL30A + dedicated graphics, use CULV C2D as well, but can turbo it to 1.73Ghz, can play many games on decent settings. also good battery life (if you turn graphics card off)
UL30JT got a better i3 CPU, so it'll be faster, + graphics card. so overall more powerful than Ul30vt/a
again the choice depends on what you use it for... if all you need is something for web surfing and typing stuff, then UL30A would be plenty -
I'm thinking about the same thing.
while I knew the differences between the two, my major thing was web browsing and 1080p video playback/output (.mkv).
Can the UL30A-A2/X5 do this? I've seen videos where people are playing back 1080p, but then I see comments in other reviews or forums saying that 1080p is a struggle for the UL30A-A2/X5.
Are there any rumors on a follow up to the UL30A-A2/X5 or are the UL30vt models pretty much the follow up?
Also, any word on if the wifi signal issue has been fixed with the newer UL30A-A2/X5 shipments?
