I have a ReadyNas device and noticed that my file transfers to it over wireless were at a slow rate (~5 mb/sec). I tried to see if I could enable jumbo frame support on the wireless card (intel wifi 1000 bgn), but didn't see the option available at all. I also updated the driver to the latest i was able to find, with no luck either. Does this card not support jumbo frames? Sucks if that's the case, but I guess I have a desktop that does, so it's not all bad. Thanks.

5MB/s over 802.11n (2.4 GHz) is actually pretty decent. Only thing I'd check is if your basestation supports bonded channels (i.e. 40 MHz vs. 20 MHz) in the 2.4 GHz band.
Then turn on 40 MHz support on the Intel WiFi 1000 BGN. (Set 802.11n Channel Width for band 2.4 to Auto)
Should be able to eek out 8-11MB/s in a 40 MHz channel if 2.4 GHz isn't too crowded with a proper wireless basestation (I have a D-Link DIR-825 and that's about what I get). Just note it's very "un-neighborly" to gobble up 40 MHz in 2.4 GHz...
Cheers,
