I just purchased the UL50VT and am having some issues.

My fn+function key combinations aren't working (specifically fn+f8-f12). The most annoying problem is that my volume buttons (fn+f10,f11,f12) aren't working.

When I booted up the system for the first time, everything worked just fine. I loaded a PC tune-up software on the computer, which updated my drivers, changed some settings, and made some start-up tweaks, and this is when my problem started.

I figured it was a driver issue so I re-installed all of the "ATK" drivers on the Asus website, but this did not fix the problem.

Does anyone have any advice as to what I could try next? I don't really want to do a factory restore or a system wipe.

To solve the fn keys problem install the ATK Hot Key driver from the asus website. Problem solved. I hope you all find this useful. IT took me 3 days to figure out with no info on the web.
